Motorola Milestone 3 Deals

The Motorola Milestone hosts the new Google Android 2.0 platform. The phone has an impressive 3.7 inch display and is relatively slim for a slide out QWERTY phone, measuring 13.7mm. The Milestone is the European version of the Motorola Droid and has a number of altered features. One of these is the ability to zoom in an out of web pages, photos and maps in a pinching action (in a similar way to the iPhone) on the capacitive touchscreen.

The Droid featured Google maps with a turn by turn navigator however Motorola have decided to trial their own MOTONAV application for maps, search and Lane Guidance. All other features remain the same with 3.5G support, Wi-Fi, EDGE and Bluetooth as well as expandable memory up to 32GB.

The Milestone features a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, dual LED flash and image stabilizer. It takes decent photos and videos and it has the latest version of Android supporting improved camera software. The Milestone has a great media player and a useful 3.5mm audio jack to support standard headphones. The Milestone is a great alternative to the Nokia N900 and is a sign that Android is closing the gap on the iPhone.
