The most affordable of the new handsets from Nokia has been announced this week, with a budget-friendly asking price and an impressive battery making it an appealing prospect, according to Tech Radar.
The Nokia 2 will come with a 4100mAh battery, easily allowing it to eclipse high end handsets in terms of the amount of use it will offer from a single charge. In theory, it should be able to work for two days before it needs to be plugged back in, which is definitely a selling point for busy people.
The rest of the specs are more in keeping with its bargain basement status, as it has a five inch screen with a 720p resolution, a quad core processor and a single gigabyte of RAM.
Camera capabilities are similarly basic by modern standards, with an eight megapixel primary snapper sitting alongside a five megapixel front-facing unit for selfies.
All of this will be bolstered by the fact that the Nokia 2 should cost the equivalent of just £85, making it one of the best budget Android phones on the market.
Licensed by HMD Global, Nokia’s brand is coming back to the mobile market and this phone will be available to British buyers early next year
