Reports from China suggest that it will continue to make bold steps to take on Samsung’s flagship devices, with a brand new Galaxy S4-baiting handset due to be unveiled next month, according to UnwiredView.
Sources state that this smartphone will sport a quad core processor clocked at 1.8GHz, as well as packing in plenty of other high end specs, including a 4.9 inch 1080p display and a 13 megapixel camera.
That puts it roughly on par with the Galaxy S4, which is landing in the UK with a quad core CPU, rather than the octo-core chip, which was teased at its American launch.
Perhaps the claim about the phone which is hardest to believe is that it will be just 6.3mm thick, which is very impressive. If Huawei has managed to achieve this, then it might have had to make compromises in the width of the device.
You can expect any emerging smartphone from Huawei to undercut Samsung’s handsets in terms of price, which might give it the edge.
