The images are not hastily snapped spy shots, but rather revealing press mock-ups, which have that undeniably official look about them.
The HTC One and One M8 both set the standard for high end Android smartphone aesthetics and this year’s successor shows no signs of changing this.
Also revealed in the past few days were the specifications, with German retailers being cited as the sources. An octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor is on the phone, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage space as standard.
A 20 megapixel camera may well make an appearance on the rear of the device and there should be a five inch screen upfront. It is unclear what the resolution will be, but most insiders believe HTC is sticking with a 1080p panel, rather than jumping to QHD, like Samsung.
Android Lollipop will be available on the One M9 from the get-go, along with a brand new version of HTC’s Sense user interface. All will be revealed early next month at MWC 2015.
