The Google Nexus 6 went on sale in the USA late last month and the initial shipment of the next-gen smartphone sold out so quickly that many customers are reported to have been disappointed, according to Android Central.
However, the search giant has promised that its USA Play Store will be stocked up with new Nexus 6 models each and every Wednesday for the foreseeable future, until demand is met, meaning that this high end handset will not be in short supply for long.
Google will no doubt be pleased that, numerically, its new phone is keeping in step with Apple, since while this denomination is meaningless on a technical level, consumers may consider it as representative of the power of these devices.
The Nexus 6 is currently the best place to experience the new Android operating system and will continue to receive updates as and when they are released by Google, with no waiting around required, as network providers do their own tinkering. However we are not sure that the new Nexus 6 will be able to match the recently launched Huawei Honor 6 in terms of value for money as that is currently available for under £250 SIM free!
