Images showing what looks to be the natural successor to the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro have appeared online, stirring up speculation about the specs and capabilities of this super-portable smartphone.
From an aesthetic point of view, the Mini Pro’s younger sibling will look very similar to the original, with a landscape slide out QWERTY keypad and a small size which will make it very pocket-friendly.
Expect to see Android 2.3 onboard, according to Phandroid, along with the custom interface which Sony Ericsson endows upon all of its Android –based mobiles, to make them stand out from the crowd.
It is thought that the as yet unnamed handset will have a 1GHz processor and a three inch display, making it more powerful and less conducive to squinting than its even smaller predecessor.
The latest images of Sony Ericsson‘s miniscule mobile seem to suggest that it is coming to the end of development, which would suggest a release or at least an announcement is bound to occur in the near future.
The original X10 Mini Pro and its keyboardless counterpart were very well received, allowing users to enjoy premium Android features at a cut price.
