Nokia is getting ready to reveal a brand new high end mobile at an event in the US next month, although up until this week, it was being referred to in the press as the EOS.
A tweet from EVLeaks changed all that when it mentioned that the EOS would in fact come to market as the Lumia 1020.
While any leak, particularly one with no evidence to back it up, should be taken with a pinch of salt, this one comes from a consistently reliable source and so may well turn out to be accurate.
The EOS/Lumia 1020 is expected to have a PureView camera with a 41 megapixel sensor, making it one of the most impressive smartphone snappers on the market.
It will also have a 4.5 inch HD display, 32GB of built in storage and a quad core processor, which will make it faster than any of its other Windows Phone 8-toting brethren.
The July 11th launch of Nokia‘s next flagship device is approaching quickly and so there is not long to wait for official info on the smartphone. If this rumour is accurate, the Lumia range is continuing to grow.
