OnePlus is gearing up to introduce its all new range-topping smartphone, the 6T, later this month. Now the official date of its unveiling has been announced as the 30th of October, according to Tech Radar.
A few details are already known about the phone, chief amongst which is that it will miss out on the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack that many mobiles have been dropping ever since Apple ditched this port a couple of years ago.
On the plus side, fans will be able to enjoy an impressive fingerprint scanner which is actually built into the display of the phone, rather than requiring a separate pad to achieve this. It will also have a pair of cameras on the rear, a notched display with a front facing camera onboard and a serious set of processing specs to help it keep pace with its rivals.
In terms of design, customers can expect a more cohesive exterior, produced from a single piece of metal, to make the OnePlus 6T look sleeker and more modern than its predecessors. Reports suggest that it will actually be slightly thicker, but by a degree that will not really be noticeable to most people.
