The LG G Flex 2 is reported to be heading to the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas at the start of 2015, bringing with it a new curved OLED display, which will have a higher resolution than that found on the original handset.
The first G Flex from LG was noteworthy for featuring a concave display, the design of which was only made possible thanks to new flexible screen technology. Now insiders are expecting that the G Flex 2 will have a similarly pliant panel, but with perhaps a QHD resolution to match the likes of the LG G3, according to Android Authority.
CES 2015 will play host to a whole range of new devices in January next year, of which the LG G Flex 2 will just be one. But with increasing critical acclaim for the flagship devices it has released so far in 2014, many observers are excited to see what the company can produce next.
With Samsung struggling to sell as many mobiles as it had hoped, LG is well positioned to overtake its domestic competitor, especially if the G Flex 2 delivers on its cutting-edge potential.
