Times Square in New York will play host to the official unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S4 on March 14th, according to a press invite issued by the manufacturer itself.
Interestingly enough, it looks like journalists will be experiencing the Galaxy S4 alongside members of the general public, since Samsung is apparently planning to livestream the event via YouTube.
That means fans will not have to actually be in the New York area to keep up to date with the launch event.
This week it was reported by GSM Arena that early benchmarks of the Galaxy S4 suggest it could feature one of the fastest mobile web browsing experiences ever constructed, which is good news for those who do not like waiting around for sites to load.
You can also expect that the Galaxy S4 will feature a 1080p five inch display and a cutting edge processor, although neither of these details has been confirmed.
As we move into the final days of the Galaxy S3‘s reign as Samsung’s flagship smartphone, it is worth remembering that this has now sold over 40 million units worldwide. That is quite an act to follow, so hopefully, the Galaxy S4 will be up to the task.
