Nokia Lumia 730 surfaces in leaked pics

Image via phonearena.comNokia is working on a number of Windows Phone 8.1 handsets, as it attempts to further broaden and enhance its range of smartphones. And now details of a fresh model, known as the Lumia 730, have emerged, along with some spy shots of the device, according to WP Central.

The Lumia 730’s most noteworthy feature is a five megapixel camera mounted above the screen, which is packing a very high resolution sensor for a secondary snapper. This will make it a veritable machine for high quality selfies, riding on a wave of solipsistic image-snapping that has become popular in the past few years.

The phone will additional offer users a 4.7 inch touchscreen display and a range of colourful exterior designs which are in keeping with Nokia’s other Lumia models.

Insiders believe that the Lumia 720 will arrive in the autumn, with the very latest iteration of Windows Phone 8.1 onboard. This should mean that Microsoft’s voice controlled Siri rival, called Cortana, should also be installed along with all the usual features that WP has to offer.

A selfie-friendly mid range model like the Lumia 730 should be a solid success for Nokia, as long as the price is right.
