Samsung Galaxy F photos leak

Image via bgr.comNew shots of the Galaxy F have emerged before Samsung has even had a chance to reveal it, indicating that the South Korean manufacturer may be planning on endowing its flagship superphone with a metal chassis, rather than relying on the polycarbon it has harnessed for so long.

Previously known as the Galaxy S5 Prime, the Galaxy F is thought to be endowed with a QHD display, pushing the resolution beyond 1080p, to allow it to hit 1440×2560.

The next-gen tech does not stop with the screen, as the Galaxy F will also boast a quad core Snapdragon 805 chipset and 3GB of RAM, all of which should help it to see off similarly impressive QHD rivals, like the recently announced LG G3.

The leaked snaps, which were published by PhoneArena, indicate that Samsung is taking onboard criticism from those who feel that its plastic-oriented designs of the past are putting it behind the curve, especially when compared with premium devices, like Apple’s iPhone 5S and HTC’s One M8.

All should be revealed during a press conference in New York this week, when Samsung is expected to debut the Galaxy F alongside the new Galaxy Tab S.
